After reading a lot of books on enduring mysteries my mind is filled with reactions, insights, and questions. It would be great to have others to share this with and to learn from. No doubt we will differ in what we feel constitutes "proof" or even what we see as believable. As long as we maintain respect for others and keep our discussions cordial, we should have no problem. After all, every one of us is just a seeker and there is far more out there to be known than any of us will ever master. For me, this suggests that humility is the best posture.
I started out reading mostly about "lost" civilizations, the possibility of "ancient aliens" and the like. Over time that reading suggested broadening my focus to include "lost" technologies and that lead to "alternative" technologies. Somewhere along the line an interest grew in the spirtual dimension of these ancient civilizations, and then into current views of cosmology and the possibility of life after death. Most recently I've been reading Ray Kurzweil's books on the "Singularity" when human biology may begin merging with technology. It's been quite a journey so far.
It is my hope to present and discuss all these topics in the months ahead. Hope you'll join in the fun!
